With the reducing the number of infected by Coronavirus, Croatia started to consider a summer season 2020. Currently, Croatian Government is discussing the safest way to re-open Croatian borders for domestic and foreign tourists. Accordingly, we will retain some of the “Corona's rules”, regarding social distancing and maintaining personal hygiene. The Croatian Minister of Tourism also points out that distance measures will be introduced in cafes, restaurants and hotels, as well as social distancing on the beaches - in order to protect Croatian citizens as well as guests who plan to spend their holidays in Croatia.
By installing Plexiglas barrier / protection or other disinfectant of washable materials in order to full fill all conditions and safety measures for the protection of buyers and sellers, re-organizing restaurant tables to minimum of 2m of distance in between, tourist workers have already done a great deal of preparation and now, awaiting detailed instructions from epidemiologists so that tourist facilities can start operating. Since April 20, Croatian life has returned almost back to normal. Each day Croatian Government is loosening its self-isolation measures, restaurants, lodging and other facilities are reopening slowly. The Government states that by the beginning of June, Croatian lifes could be returned back to normal.
So it seems that despite all the catastrophes caused by the Coronavirus worldwide, summer 2020 in Croatia will not be canceled, even though this summer season is sure to be completely different from everything we know so far.
